Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Palo Pinto County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
