Tower crane operator • Calvert County, Maryland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Calvert County, Maryland. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Full-time, day shift.
