Single needle operator • Lake County, Ohio

Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Lake County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
