We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Okitipupa, Ondo State. You will be based on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
