Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Bland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Bland County, Virginia. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery 6+ years on the tools preferred.
