Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Northumberland, England. You will be based in a garment export house. On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
