Blocklayer wanted in Platte County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Platte County, Nebraska. You will work on a busy housing site. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Day-to-day duties: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Meals and transport allowance provided.
