System formwork carpenter • Ramsey County, Minnesota

Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Ramsey County, Minnesota. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Part-time with flexible hours.
