Cement mason — Caroline County

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Caroline County, Maryland. You will work in a residential housing project. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
