Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazier in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a double glazing firm. The role involves: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Ideal candidate: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders Rotating shifts.
