Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Bradford County, Florida. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position 6+ years on the tools preferred.
