Head baker — Doddridge County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Doddridge County, West Virginia. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
