HGV driver — Hertford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HGV driver in Hertford County, North Carolina. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements On a typical shift you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
