Metal caster wanted in Taylor County

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Taylor County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
