Brick and block layer — Osage County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Osage County, Kansas. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day to day you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
