Immediate opening: port container crane operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Knowsley, England. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
