Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Pondera County, Montana. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Rotating shifts.
