Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in West Berkshire, England. You will work in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 6+ years on the tools preferred.
