Immediate opening: laundry presser (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Ramsey County, Minnesota. You will work in a busy laundry. You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time, day shift.
