Aluminium fitter — Limestone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Limestone County, Texas. You will be based at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Your main tasks: • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware 1+ years on the tools preferred. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
