Furnace operator wanted in Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Crawford County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
