Bricklayer wanted in Lehigh County

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
