Stone mason — Erie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stone mason in Erie County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
