Urgent requirement: gtaw welder (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Comanche County, Texas. The job is on an industrial construction site. On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
