Moulder — Whitman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Whitman County, Washington. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
