Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Reading, England. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Pay around £2,550 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
