Immediate opening: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Sterling County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
