Quality assurance assistant wanted in Pierce County

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Pierce County, North Dakota. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Your main tasks: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $8,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
