Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance The role involves weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers.
