Formwork carpenter — Florence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Florence County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing You will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters.
