Pressman wanted in Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Rotating shifts.
