Immediate opening: precision welder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Boyle County, Kentucky. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience.
