Machine operator — Wallowa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator in Wallowa County, Oregon. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. Your main tasks: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet What we are looking for: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
