Construction helper — Newton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Newton County, Georgia. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. Day to day you will wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Part-time with flexible hours.
