Brick and block layer — Blaine County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Blaine County, Nebraska. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts.
