Dry lining plasterer — DeKalb County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in DeKalb County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Your main tasks: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
