Restoration bricklayer — Pettis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Pettis County, Missouri. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
