Panel welder — Huron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Huron County, Michigan. The job is at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Performance bonus on top of base pay.
