Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Polk County, Iowa. You will grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
