Gas service engineer • Starr County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Starr County, Texas. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Day-to-day duties: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Meals and transport allowance provided.
