Steam press operator — Sullivan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Meals and transport allowance provided.
