Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Dundee City

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Dundee City, Scotland. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand 3+ years on the tools preferred.
