Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Washoe County, Nevada. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Overtime paid at a premium rate.
