Falsework carpenter wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Montgomery County, Alabama. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Your main tasks: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
