Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Linn County, Oregon. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
