Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Gwer East, Benue State. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose.
