Site safety steward • DeWitt County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in DeWitt County, Texas. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
