Hoist operator • Washington County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Washington County, New York. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
