Argon welder wanted in Limestone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Limestone County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Part-time with flexible hours.
