Join our team: we are hiring a bread baker in Jefferson County, Texas. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. You will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
